The new album is going to be great!!  We have been recording off and on for the past several months and you are in for a treat!  

As we start to wrap up the final songs on this new record, we are left with a few choices.

1.  We are thinking about putting out a record on CD with a brand new direction of the band.

2.  We are thinking about putting out a Vinyl record for the songs that have a more raw/in-your-face sound.

We are in the studio right now recording our next effort.  As many of you know, we have a kick-a** drummer named Rob, and a brand new guitarist that we like to call Dump Truck.  They both have added so much to our sound, and the new songs couldn't have taken life without them.

"The Arkansas, USA based band A GOOD FIGHT already has had fifteen minutes of fame on MTV with some of their material and while listening to their first full-length CD, it becomes clear that this is a high quality band. What they are doing is very impressive and deadly catchy at times. A GOOD FIGHT is playing modern day American Melodic Poprock, a few steps away from bands like BOWLING FOR SOUP, WEEZER, GOOD CHARLOTTE, SIMPLE PLAN, THE CLICK FIVE and such, but somehow with a wink to the 1980s in the guitar riff department, such as the HAIR METAL riff in the song “Rips like a motor”. However, the music is American Highschool catchy day catchy Melodic Poprock, short but sweet and....quite good. A GOOD FIGHT MUSIC VIDEO CONTEST:

Well, we have just finished our first full length album this past Saturday.  It is going to feature 12 new songs that you haven't heard before.  We're really excited about it.  As a band, we have really matured and evolved our sound into something great.  This is going to be an "all killer and no filler" record!  

On this album we are featuring a few local artists as well.  Amyh from Dreamfast will have her vocals on a song entitled, "The Only One".  Colin Hardaway from Colin Hardaway and the Commoners will have his vocals on "All Day, All Night".  Both songs are a very colorful additive to this album, and will reach a wide variety of listeners.  

Now, we sit and wait for the first round of mixes to come back.  We're looking at 2-3 weeks before that happens.  Barry always does a magnificent job with mixing our songs, but this time he is going to put some real nice touches on everything.  After that we send the songs off to be mastered, then manufactured.  This is an exciting time for us.

We want to thank our fans for supporting us this past year, and everyone else that has helped us achieve this record.  We love you all.

We've been recording our first official LP in Little Rock over the past few months.  We have probably 3-4 more weeks of vocals and mixing left to do.  Poynter's Palace is a great recording studio if you get the chance to record.
